About me

I am a digital artist from Poland. Online I am also known as Flamansz.I draw all kinds of 2D art, from character concepts to illustration, from props and weapons to environments. I have the most experience in historical and fantasy settings, as can be seen in the most recent project I contributed to as a concept artist (and part of general ideas team) - False Gods, rpg still in production.Nowadays, I mainly use digital media but I try to pick up a pencil at least from time to time.I mostly use Photoshop and Procreate.

FLAMANSZ PROP COMMISSION - PRICINGThe commission pricing depends on two main factors - the first one is a level of complexity and the second one is a level of finish. All levels include 3 concept iterations, the commissioner will receive a page of very rough ideas, a page with 3 rough concepts, a page with 3 color or greyscale compositions and lighting comps if requested. The prices can be negotiated to a degree. The commissioner can request reasonable changes on all levels, the higher the levels the smaller the changes that can be requested. E.g. On level one the concepts can be mixed and matched and made into some different concepts with existing elements. Reaching level 5 there can be some tiny tweaks to lighting or colors but nothing that would go into the drawing fundamentals.Levels of complexity (subject matter):(all assuming the commissioner provides moderate levels of reference – some visual aids, some ideas etc.)level A – a lot of background research needed, design is rather complex (think complex machinery, more advanced weapons, detailed clothing or armour sets, intricate architecture elements or buildings, intricate props – like luxurious, decorative chairs, mosaics, etc., very complex vegetation)level B – a moderate amount of research needed, design based on simpler forms but still either adorned with more complex details or a particular look that requires more thinking (think simpler weapons like swords, bows etc. with some intricate details, simple sets of clothing, props like complex bags, adorned chests, moderatly detailed objects, simpler machines, parts of armour etc.; flowers bunches, plants, complex natural elements like trees or crazy rock formations)level C – small amount of research needed, simple designs with some added visual flair (think usual everyday objects, simple cutlery, bottles, regular bags and pouches, weapon parts like arrowheads, simple shields etc. baskets, simple shaped props like coins; rocks and stones; simple architectural elements etc.)Levels of finish:level 1 – just concept sketches, not the roughest ideation ones but 3 cleaner iterations
level 2 – cleaner linework – flat greyscale
level 3 – clean, detailed linework with flat colors/rougher linework with some rendering
level 4 – clean, detailed linework with colors and cell shading (simple BG like shapes, gradients included in this level)
level 5 – full render with a simple bg – think clouds, some landscape
anything more (eg. Fully rendered illustration with lots of complex pieces would be priced completely individually)Pricing (based in eur):A1 – 35 A2 – 45 A3 – 60 A4 – 70 A5 - 80B1 – 30 B2 – 40 B3 - 50 B4 - 60 B5 - 70C1 – 25 C2 – 30 C3 - 35 C4 - 40 C5 – 50all prices are based on an hourly wage of 5,5 eur
